If Your Blog Is Not on the Top List . . .

There are three reasons for your blog not appearing on the Blog Village Top List:

  1. Your blog has not had one click in/hit in since the beginning of the month.
  2. Your blog does not have the Blog Village Banner displayed.
  3. Your blog may have been deleted if number 1 or 2 is true.

Before you email ADMIN with an angry email, please do the following:
  1. Check your blog for the Blog Village Banner.
  2. Click your banner.
  3. If the code for the banner is correctly installed, it will take you through the gateway page and register as a "click in" or "hit in."
  4. It may take up to 30 minutes for your blog to appear on the top list.
You must do this at the first of every month when the Blog Village Top List resets.

If your blog does not have a Blog Village banner:
  1. Login to the Blog Village Top List and get the code.
  2. Install code on your blog.
  3. Click the banner on your blog.
  4. Enter through the gateway page.
You must do this every month when the Blog Village Top List resets.

Note:
  • Do not copy a banner from another blog.
  • The banner must be encoded with YOUR ID number.

Every month, you must click in from your blog. Any blog not clicking in will be deleted the following month.

This is not a new policy.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that some folks are emailing you, CC. But you are right - they had plenty of warning.

I am sorry they are blaming you for my policies, though.

Face it Dirty Butter, you were a sweet heart. (Still are, eh.) CyberCelt's coming down hard with steel toed boots; kicking ass and taking names.

...laughing

My position, as it has always been, is that if people don't want to participate it makes no sense for them to be here. It's nothing to ask something to click a link once a month.

Blog Village has been, since I joined, and remains the best place for bloggers to get together for meaningful fellowship.

I hope you're doing well in your "retirement" DB...and wish CC smooth sailing while she tosses the dead weight over the side.

LOL . . . Got my jackboots and a whip if you don't shape up, slackers.

Steel Toe shoes work well. Use them. I wish you the same success that DB had. She has become a good friend and I love her dearly.

Blog Village looks great, and is still my favourite place to find new friends and cherish the old.

Way to go, Cyber...I will miss DB and her warm heart, but Blog Village will carry on well under your guidance!

@joe-Thanks for your kind words.

@marion-Thank you for that vote of confidence!

Hi Cybercelt, thanks for the note. Not sure why my logging in on 2nd July has not reflected. You will note both blogs say "Me" where I rated them on that date.
